As part of our support of the Edible Playground initiative, and following our success at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, we created another, bigger Edible Playground at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show – and won a Gold Award and Tudor Rose Award for Best Show Garden! We were delighted by all the attention our Edible Playground garden received and we hope it will inspire lots more schools across the country to transform a part of their playground into a veg garden and encourage children to cook with the food they grow. At the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, The Dorset Cereals Edible Playground Garden won a Gold Medal and the Best Courtyard Garden award. Created to support the Edible Playgrounds initiative, which encourages school children to learn about growing their own food, it was entirely designed, built and grown by a hugely talented all-Dorset cast.

Dorset Cereals have won Taste of the West Awards for their Organic Fruit, Nuts and Seeds recipe and also for their new Naturally Light Flake recipe with Cranberries, Cherries & Raspberries.

Almost 4,500 products were blind-tasted at the Great Taste Awards. Each award is presented to products which have excellent taste, texture and flavour and is a mark of a producer’s commitment to making fine food. Dorset Cereals received Gold one-star awards for its Apple and Raisin Fruity Porridge and also for the Fruit and Nut Fruity Porridge.
