Our recipes don’t contain peanuts, and we don’t use peanuts in our manufacturing and have a strict no peanut policy in place.

However, some of our ingredients come from suppliers who may also handle peanuts. While we have strict controls in place, we can’t guarantee there’s no risk of cross‑contamination. If you or someone in your household has a peanut allergy, we’d advise not to consume our cereals.

Yes. All Dorset Cereals products are certified by Kosher London Beth Din, one of the world’s leading kosher certification bodies.

Everyone’s dietary needs are different, particularly when managing diabetes. We’re not able to recommend specific products, so we’d always suggest speaking with your GP, practice nurse or dietitian for personalised advice.

You can, however, explore our recipes with no added sugar on our website.

Yes — with just a couple of exceptions, our cereals are suitable for a vegan diet.

The exceptions are:

  • Honey Granola (contains honey)
  • Choc Cherry Granola (may contain traces of milk)

Yes — all of our packs feature traffic light nutrition labels. We include them to make nutritional information clear and easy to understand at a glance, so you can make choices that feel right for you.

Yes — our Wonderful Organic Muesli is made with organically grown fruit, seeds and grains, carefully blended for balance, texture and flavour.

No. We don’t use genetically modified ingredients in any of our recipes. Both we and our suppliers carry out checks to make sure everything meets our standards.

No — you won’t find palm oil in any Dorset Cereals recipes

Some of our toasted flakes include a small amount of salt — just enough to bring out the flavour.

We can’t make a definitive 5‑a‑day claim for our cereals.

Current guidance says one portion of fruit is 80g. For dried fruit, that’s roughly one heaped tablespoon — and it needs to be a single ingredient. Nuts and seeds don’t count.

If you’d like to learn more, the NHS and Food Standards Agency have clear guidance online. As a tip, 125ml of fruit juice does count as one portion.

Where we’ve made changes, they’ve been thoughtful ones.

We’re always looking for ways to improve taste, texture and balance — while staying true to the recipes people already love. It’s about careful evolution, not change for change’s sake.

How can I get in touch?

If you have a question, we’re always happy to help.

You can contact us via our website contact page, or reach out on Facebook, Instagram or X (formerly Twitter). We’re online Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Our cereals are made in a place that handles almonds, hazelnuts, cashews, Brazils, pecans and macadamias. We’re very careful about keeping
them separate - but we can’t promise there’s no cross-contamination. So if you or your loved ones have a nut allergy, even to one not listed,
we advise not to consume our cereals.

Yes. Our cereal boxes are made from FSC‑certified cardboard, so once you’ve enjoyed every last spoonful, they can be recycled at home.

Our inner plastic bags can be recycled with carrier bags at larger supermarkets, and some councils also collect them curbside. For the most up‑to‑date local guidance, Recycle Now is a helpful place to look.

A “may contain” statement means that, despite careful processes, we can’t guarantee a product is completely free from a particular allergen.

Although ingredients are stored separately and full clean‑downs are carried out, our cereals are made in an environment where nuts are handled. This means there’s a small risk of cross‑contamination.

You’ll find Dorset stocked across all major UK retailers.

Not every retailer carries the full range, so availability can vary depending on the store and location. If you’re looking for a particular recipe, it’s always worth checking a few options.

You can also shop Dorset online through Ocado and Amazon, where you’ll often find a wider selection available.

We work with a network of trusted suppliers in the UK and around the world to source the ingredients that go into our cereals.

Availability, quality and consistency all play a part in our sourcing decisions, and we choose ingredients that meet our specifications for taste and performance in our recipes. It’s about finding the right balance — and making sure every bowl delivers on what you expect from Dorset.

From nuts, seeds and wholegrains - naturally.

These ingredients contain fats, fibre, vitamins and minerals, and contribute to both flavour and texture. Some grains, such as oats and barley, also contain small amounts of naturally occurring fats and sugars.

We’ve simplified the Dorset range to make it easier to shop.

The Simply recipes overlapped with other Dorset mueslis, so we brought everything together into one clear range — keeping the flavours and textures people enjoyed most, while making it simpler to find the right recipe on shelf.

If you’re looking for something similar to a previous favourite, you’ll find close alternatives across the range.

Much of the sweetness in our cereals comes naturally from dried fruit, where sugars are stored into each raisin, cherry or blueberry.

Our granolas are baked to achieve their golden crunch, which means using a small amount of honey or golden syrup in some recipes.

We’ve refreshed our look to better reflect who we are today — confident, modern and rooted in craft. The new designs celebrate colour, detail and the Dorset leaf, while making it easier to find your favourites on shelf.
